Overview

Mondel z Global LLC, a prominent global snacking company, is hiring a CDL A Local Delivery Driver in Indianapolis, IN. In this union role, drivers will safely deliver temperature-controlled foods within the Indianapolis metro area while enjoying a home-daily schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver products safely and on time within the Indianapolis metro area
  • Stock the truck with products and unload at various locations
  • Navigate delivery routes with combination touch and no touch freight
  • Communicate vehicle issues and perform basic repairs when necessary

Required skills

  • Valid CDL A license
  • 2 years verifiable driving experience
  • Safe driving behavior with no serious driving convictions in the last 5 years
  • Registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation
  • Ability to use smartphones or tablets and ELD for logging
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • General understanding of vehicle mechanics
