Overview

Join McLane Company as a CDL-A Driver, where you'll play a key role in transporting and delivering products for America's favorite brands. With over 130 years of experience in the industry, McLane is committed to providing strong client relationships and ensuring drivers get home safely and more often.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively
