Overview

Mclane Company, Inc. is seeking dedicated CDL A Drivers in Northfield, MN to deliver products safely and efficiently. With over 130 years in the distribution industry, the company values reliability and safety, offering industry-leading pay and a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and delivery logistics
  • Experience with vehicle inspection and route navigation
