Job Description

Overview

As a CDL A Driver at McLane Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of products within the logistics network. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and vehicle inspection
