McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A driver in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. As a driver, you will be pivotal in transporting goods for well-known brands, ensuring safety and compliance while providing exceptional service. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt.
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Safety compliance and vehicle inspection skills
  • Logistics management and customer service skills
