Overview

As a CDL A Driver with McLane Company, you will play a crucial role in transporting and delivering products to customers while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and product temperatures.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Understanding of safety protocols and operational standards
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
