Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking dedicated CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers for their 3rd shift overnight position. The role emphasizes safety and reliability as drivers transport products for major brands, with a commitment to building long-lasting careers supported by competitive pay and benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries and exceptions
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
  • Knowledge of safety protocols
  • Time management
  • Customer service skills

  • Pay Rate: $80,000 to $125,000 for qualified candidates, $55,000-$70,000 during training
