Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver for Mclane Company, Inc., you will play a crucial role in moving and supplying products for America's favorite brands. The position involves driving a tractor-trailer to various destinations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate delivery logs, all while enjoying the support of a company committed to your success and well-being.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading for accuracy.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, following commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Knowledge of route planning and logistics management
  • Safety compliance expertise
  • Experience with manual or Peoplenet driver log systems

  • Pay Rate: $80,000 to $90,000, with top earners making up to $110,000
