Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will be part of a dedicated team that supplies and moves products for America's favorite brands. With a focus on safety and reliability, you will deliver products, maintain vehicle operations, and ensure compliance with regulations, all while enjoying a rewarding career with strong pay and benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, ensuring compliance with commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts and product temperatures
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and logistics management
  • Strong customer service skills
