Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you'll play a crucial role in transporting goods for well-known brands. The position emphasizes safety and reliability while ensuring drivers are home safely and more often, contributing to their long-lasting careers with the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting all necessary details.
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
