Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in West Hartford, Vermont. As a driver, you'll contribute to the movement and supply of America's favorite brands while focusing on safety and reliability, which have been core to the company's success for over 130 years.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips
  • Submit DOT inspection report indicating vehicle condition
  • Drive tractor-trailer to designated locations following commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload products and deliver them into customer premises
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively

  • Pay rate of $70,000 to $110,000 for first year drivers
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $15,000, depending on experience
