Overview

Join McLane Company, Inc. as a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be part of a team that has been a leader in the distribution industry for over 130 years, responsible for delivering America's favorite brands while ensuring safety and reliability in your driving practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit inspection reports.
  • Verify accuracy of bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to various destinations following commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Strong understanding of driving regulations and safety protocols
  • Good communication skills in English

  • Pay rate: First year drivers make $70,000 to $110,000
