Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, you will play a crucial role in transporting the products of America's favorite brands. With a commitment to safety and reliability, you'll join a well-established industry leader, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while building a long-lasting career.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, ensuring compliance with commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and product conditions.
  • Unload trailer, delivering products into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Strong focus on safety and reliability
