Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will be an integral part of the team responsible for delivering products to customers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries and exceptions.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a sufficient level
  • Strong safety compliance and reliability

  • Pay Rate: First year drivers make $70,000 to $110,000
