Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Lowell, Massachusetts. This role focuses on safely transporting products and providing excellent customer service, while ensuring compliance with all driving regulations. McLane has a long-standing reputation in the distribution industry, providing industry-leading pay and benefits to its drivers.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Verify bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

  • Pay Rate: First year drivers make $70,000 to $110,000
