Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking dedicated CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to join their team in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The role involves driving tractor-trailers to deliver products while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during deliveries
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Safety compliance and defensive driving skills
  • Route planning and customer service skills
  • Vehicle maintenance knowledge

  • Pay Rate: First year drivers make $70,000 to $110,000
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $15,000 depending on experience
