Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Guilford, Indiana. This role involves driving a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customers while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. With over 130 years in the industry, McLane is dedicated to providing excellent service and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • CDL-A License
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
