Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, you will play a vital role in moving, supplying, and providing for America's favorite brands. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips and submit DOT inspection reports.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery details and product temperatures.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a sufficient level for job-related tasks

  • Pay Rate: $80,000 to $90,000 with top earners making up to $110,000
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000 depending on experience
