Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join their team in Andover, Massachusetts. This role involves delivering products while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations, as part of a company that has been a leader in the distribution industry for over 130 years.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips
  • Inspect bill of lading for accuracy during off-hour deliveries
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destinations while following commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks

  • Pay Rate: $70,000 to $110,000 for first year drivers
