Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Austin, Minnesota. This role is crucial for transporting products for well-known brands and ensuring timely deliveries, while also maintaining compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Understanding of safety protocols
