Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, you'll play a vital role in transporting goods for America's favorite brands. With a focus on safety and reliability, you'll enjoy a career that offers competitive pay and benefits while ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery details.
  • Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and logistics management
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
