Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you'll play a critical role in transporting goods for some of America's favorite brands. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and exceptions
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Safety compliance and vehicle maintenance skills
