McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join their team in Friendship, Indiana. The role involves transporting goods for well-known brands while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries
  • Drive tractor-trailer to various destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery details
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for effective communication
  • Vehicle inspection skills
  • Route planning and customer service experience

  • Pay rate: $80,000 to $90,000, with top earners making up to $110,000
