McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Jasper, Michigan. This role involves transporting goods while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries and product conditions
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
  • Safety protocols and vehicle inspection skills
