Overview

Join McLane Company as a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver and contribute to the success of a leader in the distribution industry. With over 130 years of experience, you will play a critical role in delivering products to customers while ensuring safety and reliability on the road.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and communication
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a sufficient level

  • Pay Rate: Drivers make $85,000-$90,000
  • Sign-on bonus: Up to $7,500, depending on experience
