Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will play a vital role in transporting goods to America's favorite brands. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Ensure accuracy in bill of lading and store keys during off-hour delivery
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a sufficient level
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and regulations
  • Experience in customer service and route planning

  • Pay rate: $83,000 to $85,000 depending on experience
