Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will play a vital role in transporting and delivering products for some of America's favorite brands. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, following commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts and product conditions
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and delivery logistics
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
  • Route planning and customer service skills
  • Experience in vehicle maintenance
