Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will play a crucial role in transporting goods to various destinations while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log, documenting delivery receipt and product conditions.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficient for job tasks
