Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Andover, Massachusetts. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods securely and efficiently while adhering to safety regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, following commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Strong safety compliance and vehicle inspection skills
  • Customer service and route planning abilities

  • Pay Rate: First year drivers make $70,000 to $110,000
