Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will play a vital role in transporting products efficiently and safely to customers. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery details
  • Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a sufficient level
  • Safety compliance and focus

  • Pay Rate: First year drivers make $70,000 to $110,000
