Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to safety and reliability while handling deliveries for America's favorite brands. This role offers industry-leading pay and a commitment to ensuring drivers get home safely and frequently.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks
