Job Description

Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at McLane Company, you will play a vital role in transporting products safely and efficiently for America's favorite brands. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips
  • Drive tractor-trailer to assigned destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a sufficient level for job-related tasks
