Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join their team in Lowell, Massachusetts. The company values reliability and safety, aiming to build long-lasting careers for their drivers while providing industry-leading pay and benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
  • Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and logistics management
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a sufficient level
  • Time management and customer service skills
  • Vehicle maintenance knowledge

  • Pay rate of $70,000 to $110,000 for first year drivers
