Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to regulations and maintaining a positive relationship with customers. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destinations, applying knowledge of driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises
  • Inspect bill of lading for accuracy during off-hour delivery
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Experience in vehicle inspection and safety compliance
  • Adaptability and reliability
