Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Driver for McLane Company, Inc., you'll play a crucial role in transporting and delivering products for some of America's favorite brands. With a focus on safety and reliability, this position offers a chance to build a long-lasting career within a company that has over 130 years of industry experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt and product temperatures.
  • Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Safety-focused and reliable

  • Pay Rate: $85,000 to $95,000 per year
