Overview

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Roanoke, Alabama. This role involves driving commercial vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report
  • Verify accuracy of bill of lading and store keys for off-hour delivery
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination while adhering to commercial driving regulations
  • Maintain driver log in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
