Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Driver at McLane Company, Inc., you will be responsible for transporting goods while ensuring safety and compliance with driving regulations. With a focus on reliability and dedication, you'll join an industry leader that values its drivers and offers a stable career path.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
  • Drive tractor-trailer to destination using knowledge of regulations and driving skills.
  • Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting deliveries and product conditions.
  • Unload trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
  • At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Experience with safety management and route planning
