Overview

The Catering Services Manager at Aramark is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at UNC Pembroke. This position involves managing the catering team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high service standards in event planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customer needs
  • Maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ensure consistent quality in planning and executing events
  • Facilitate food delivery and event setups based on banquet event orders
  • Assist clients with planning special events and provide creative solutions
  • Train and lead catering employees to meet standards and ensure quality
  • Execute catering events of varied sizes and manage staffing
  • Ensure accurate reporting of catering-related revenue and expenses
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
