Overview

The Catering Manager at Aramark will oversee all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the Ringling Museum. This leadership role involves managing the catering team to ensure events are executed to meet customer expectations and service standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customer needs
  • Maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ensure consistent quality in planning and executing events
  • Facilitate delivery of prepared food and setup for events
  • Assist clients in planning special events with creative solutions
  • Train and lead catering employees to follow event standards
  • Provide quality assurance for catering requests prior to events
  • Ensure accurate reporting of catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with food, occupational, and environmental safety policies

Required skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in management or a supervisory role
  • Experience in events, hospitality, and catering
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Completion of Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
