Overview

The Catering Manager I at Aramark will lead catering functions for a corporate dining account, ensuring exceptional dining experiences through meticulous planning and execution. This role emphasizes developing client relationships and managing all aspects of catering operations, aiming for high-quality service in a professional environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customer needs
  • Maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Deliver consistent quality in event planning and execution
  • Facilitate food delivery and event setup based on banquet event orders
  • Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions
  • Train and lead catering employees to adhere to event standards
  • Ensure quality assurance for catering orders prior to events
  • Meet food and labor targets for catering operations
  • Manage catering events of various sizes, including staffing and management
  • Accurately report catering revenue, expenses, and receivables
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in events, hospitality, and catering preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
