Overview

As a Catering Baker at Aramark, you will be an essential part of the Food Services Team, responsible for baking a variety of food items using standardized recipes. This role offers the opportunity to explore different baking styles while ensuring health and safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Bake and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, and chopping
  • Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
  • Safely use a variety of utensils including knives
  • Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests and co-workers
  • Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of company assets

Required skills

  • Previous experience as a baker or in a related role preferred
  • Knowledge of baking methods and food safety regulations
  • Required to obtain food safety certification(s)
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
