Overview

The Category Manager for Sneakers at StockX will own the category growth within a new commerce initiative, acting as a market and culture expert in the sneaker ecosystem. This individual will play a pivotal role in defining strategies to enhance supply, engagement, and revenue, while also fostering connections within the sneaker community.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the Sneakers Category end-to-end
  • Define and execute the growth strategy for the sneaker category
  • Establish quarterly goals and operating rhythms
  • Maintain deep knowledge of sneaker culture and market dynamics
  • Recruit and onboard high-impact sneaker sellers and influencers
  • Identify and orchestrate sneaker-specific moments and campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product features
  • Document best practices and learnings for future category ownership

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in category management or marketplace growth
