Overview

The Cat Scan (CT) Technician at Jackson Purchase Medical Center provides computed tomography imaging as part of a team focused on delivering excellent patient care in a supportive environment. Located in Mayfield, Kentucky, the medical center offers a range of services in a community-oriented setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging
  • Ensure compliance with applicable scope and standards of practice
  • Provide care for various patient populations from neonates to older adults
  • Manage exposure to biological and chemical hazards
  • Accept on-call assignments and respond within 30 minutes when notified

Required skills

  • Two-year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree
  • Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology and Computed Tomography
  • BLS certification required
