You'll receive hands-on experience, work alongside an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, and have access to clinical supervision toward licensure.Starting Pay: $44,000Why You'll Love This RoleMake a visible difference: Build relationships with participants and see the impact of your work firsthand.Build your clinical career: Receive supervision for clinical hours needed toward licensure.We invest in your licensure: Once licensed, WCS covers your license renewal fees.Potential student loan relief: As a nonprofit organization, WCS employees may qualify for applicable student loan forgiveness/repayment programs.Work as part of a team: You'll have the support of an experienced ACT team while developing your own professional skills.Get out into the community: Approximately 70% of your work takes place in participants' homes and throughout the Milwaukee community.Develop real-world clinical skills: Gain experience with mental health, substance use, crisis intervention, care coordination, treatment planning, and recovery-focused services.Every day is different: If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and meaningful interactions, this role offers plenty of both.What You'll DoAs a CSP Case Manager, you'll help participants move from where they are today toward where they want to be.Your responsibilities will include:Completing ongoing assessments and developing person-centered treatment plans.Providing case management, supportive psychotherapy, symptom management, and crisis intervention within your scope of practice.Monitoring mental health symptoms and coordinating medication-related needs.Supporting participants in developing and achieving attainable recovery goals.Coordinating mental health, healthcare, and substance use treatment services.Helping participants access and maintain housing.Supporting money management and other activities of daily living.Helping participants pursue employment and educational goals.Assisting with appointments, transportation, scheduling, and community resources.Conducting frequent home visits and community-based outreach.Providing transportation to participants when needed, including driving an agency van in circumstances required by program policy.Working closely with participants' families and natural supports.Participating as an active member of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.Participating in group facilitation as assigned.Attending daily staffing, weekly team meetings, and in-service training.Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency policy and DHS 63.Managing participant funds when appropriate.Collaborating with teammates to address both planned and unexpected participant needs.
