The Carpenter for Bridge Construction at A.M. Cohron & Son will build, install, and repair wooden structures used in bridge construction projects across several states. The role requires teamwork and effective communication, emphasizing safety compliance and tool maintenance while working on-site at various job locations.

Key responsibilities

  • Travel to different job sites in multiple states
  • Attend work as scheduled and collaborate with team members
  • Follow company handbooks and communicate clearly
  • Perform carpentry work for various bridge components
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Select and prepare lumber and materials for form construction
  • Measure and layout forms using various tools
  • Cut and shape forms to specifications
  • Assemble forms securely
  • Verify accuracy of forms before work begins
  • Report safety concerns promptly to management

Required skills
