Overview

Rise Modular is seeking a Carpenter to perform rough carpentry tasks with moderate supervision in New Prague, Minnesota. The role involves building structures for the multi-family apartment and housing sectors, where attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are crucial.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform rough carpentry tasks with moderate supervision
  • Measure, mark, and cut lumber to build walls, floors, and roof trusses
  • Nail lumber together to construct building structures
  • Assemble wall panels and put up sheathing and roofing materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints or sketches
  • Follow work orders for assembly of building components
  • Clean and maintain equipment and workstation
  • Communicate openly with Leads and Supervisors
  • Promote safety in the work environment

Required skills

  • At least 3 years of framing experience
  • Strong math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Previous construction experience
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment usage (router, framing guns, drills)
  • Positive attitude
  • Flexibility on job responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
