Overview

Rise Modular, LLC is seeking a Carpenter to join their modular manufacturing team in Waterville, Minnesota. The role involves performing rough carpentry tasks with moderate supervision, including measuring, cutting, and assembling building components.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform rough carpentry tasks following detailed instructions
  • Measure, mark, and cut lumber for walls, floors, and roof trusses
  • Nail lumber together to construct frames
  • Assemble wall panels and put up sheathing and roofing materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Maintain equipment and workstation cleanliness
  • Communicate openly with Leads and Supervisors
  • Adhere to safety protocols in the work environment

Required skills

  • At least 3 years of framing experience
  • Strong math and measurement skills
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • Previous construction experience
  • Knowledge of tool usage (router, framing guns, drills, cordless tools)
  • Positive attitude and flexibility on job responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
