Job Description

Overview

Uline is seeking a Carpenter for their new warehouse in Plainfield, Connecticut. This role involves maintaining and repairing warehouse facilities, modular workstations, and other office setups while ensuring a clean and inviting environment in over 1.3 million square feet of space.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on drywall, painting, doors, locks, racks, and restrooms
  • Install, reconfigure, and repair modular workstations
  • Setup and tear down events
  • Clean warehouse and office spaces as well as the building's exterior
  • Operate utility vehicles, forklifts, and cargo vans
  • Assist other Facilities teams as needed

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, janitorial, construction, or carpentry
  • Prior experience with hand and power tools
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 - 70 lbs
