Overview

Alberta Ltd o/a High End Hotel Construction is seeking a Carpenter for a full-time, permanent position. The role involves working at various locations and is expected to start as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare layouts in compliance with building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials like wood and lightweight steel
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments

Required skills

  • Experience in woodworking and layout design
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety equipment use
  • Ability to measure and handle heavy loads
  • Teamwork and efficient interpersonal skills
  • One to two years of relevant experience
