Overview

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join their team in Springfield, Illinois, focusing on providing advanced cardiac care for patients with complex conditions. The role offers the chance to collaborate with leading cardiologists and surgeons in a supportive environment dedicated to patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide advanced care to patients with complex cardiac conditions
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and surgeons
  • Manage patients across the care continuum
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Participate in call rotation (1:5)

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant
  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience managing cardiac patients preferred
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation preferred
  • Controlled Substance license preferred
  • Federal DEA license preferred
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
